Childrens’ Dentistry in Wharton

Childrens' Dentistry in WhartonAre you looking for a family dentist who is open to treating all members of your family, including its smallest members? Our Wharton childrens’ dentistry office would love to meet your children and help them develop good dental hygiene habits at an early age. Our childrens’ dentistry clinic is operated by Scott Pinkston DDS, a dentist who truly enjoys working with children.

General dentistry for children is a very important part of their overall health. Your young ones need regular dental check-ups to keep their teeth and gums healthy and for Dr. Pinkston to be able to monitor the growth of incoming adult teeth. If we are able to determine early that the teeth may have trouble growing in, we can take the appropriate steps to correct the problem.

It would be unrealistic of us to expect a child who has never had a dental appointment to sit right down and have no fear of a stranger looking in his or her mouth. We take our time with children and explain everything we are going to do before we do it. We find that taking this extra time in the beginning of the appointment helps everything go smoother and we are sure to reward our little patients with a special surprise when they leave.

If you are frustrated with other dentists who expect children to act like adults, call us for a stress-free appointment for your child.
